By State or Territory
Most family history information in Australia is organised according to the State or Territory it originated in. Choose the state or territory of interest from the menu.
Remember though that at various a different state or territory may have been responsible for a particular region. For example, Victoria didn't exist prior to 1852, so records for that period might be found in New South Wales if you can't find them in Victoria. New South Wales should also be checked for older records relating to what is now the ACT. At times South Australia was responsible for the Northern Territory.
